Tracie Reed is a contemporary Christian artist. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii during her father’s military service in the Armed Forces. Tracie resided in multiple cites before her family finally settled in Corpus Christi, Texas. In order to cope with the constant changes and relocations military families experience, she started writing songs. She accepted Christ into her life at a young age and began to incorporate the joys and struggles of her Christian journey into her music.
She enlisted in the Armed Forces after graduating from high school. She later went to college and became an X-ray Technologist. She continued to write songs and music while she was a member of a praise and worship team at a local church for many years. As she grew in her relationship with the Lord, she realized it was time for her to share the music she created with more listeners.
Tracie strives to make her songs connect with her listeners by using subtle vocal harmonies and phrasing her sultry lyrics in a way that is sincere and relatable. Her music creates an energy of gratitude, hope, and perseverance. The listener will not be able to sit still as the combination of her voice and dynamic rhythms magnetize and stir up the praise within.
